advocating human rights by climbing a really big mountain!

To all my friends and family who have clicked on this link! Thank-you for showing interest in what I am going to call a way to advocate for Human Rights and social justice, or this spur of the moment challenge I thought would be a good idea! 

In July 2012, I, only with 61 other people (not all together, but we have several groups embarking) are going to climb the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It is going to be so hard and my body is telling me no no no no! But I never listen to my body and I will be taking the summit to show my support for Amnesty International’s continual work fighting for social change and justice not only in Australia but around the globe!

I'm going to be raising much needed funds for Amnesty International Australia to assist them in their stance against those facing injustice and abuse. Please help me raise vital funds to hold warlords and dictators accountable, free prisoners of conscience, promote respect for Indigenous peoples and boldly, ambitiously defend human rights in every corner of the world.

All donations made through my fundraising page will go directly to Amnesty International and you receive a tax deductible receipt and will help Amnesty continual work.
