To Kilimanjaro and beyond!
Story
Hey everyone!
In a moment of (what some may describe as) madness, I have committed to climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in July 2012 for Amnesty International.
To give you an idea of the challenge I have taken on, the highest mountain I have climbed thus far has been Mt Fuji (the highest mountain in Japan at 3776m) and that took me around 15 hours return (the main climb being at night) and was a very hard slog. I have now committed to climbing 5985m in a gruelling 7 day trek up the highest peak in Africa.
In doing so, I'm going to be raising much needed funds for Amnesty International Australia (a charity I have long respected and admired) to assist them in their vital work defending human rights throughout the world on behalf of those who have no voice.
It's not going to be easy (physically or financially) but I hope you can assist me in raising funds for Amnesty's valuable work and at the same time, support me in my challenge. Any donation, large or small will help to make a difference.

Activity
Amnesty International Australia
Amnesty International believes in equal human rights for all. Amnesty International Australia is part of the global movement of more than 7 million individuals committed to defending those who are denied justice or freedom. We work in Australia and around the world to stand up to injustice and protect those facing abuse. To do this, we mobilise people, campaign, conduct research and raise money for our work.
